What Is The Difference Between An Agreement And A Template?

There is a fairly simple difference between agreements and templates. Agreements are unique and contain the specific content you will send to someone to sign, and templates act as frameworks for agreements that you use frequently.

For example, you might store a template for your terms and conditions, or a non disclosure agreement which you will send to lots of people. You will edit the specific details each time you use it, but the basics stay the same.

You don’t have to use templates at all if you don’t want or if you don’t have a need for them. You can create all of your agreements from scratch should you choose to do so.
